SMS Opt-In and Consent

Last updated: July 25, 2026

This page describes how Autodatafy Corp. (“Autodatafy”) collects consent to send text messages, what those messages contain, and how anyone can stop receiving them. It covers messages we send from our own company line, +1 (888) 848-3124.

1. How we collect consent

We send texts only to people who have given express consent, collected in one of these ways:

You text us first. Our business number is published on this website and on our contact page. Starting a conversation with us is consent to reply to you on that number.

You give us your number on a form. On our demo request and contact forms, the phone field sits beside a checkbox that is not pre-ticked, reading: “I agree to receive text messages from Autodatafy about my request. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.” The form cannot be submitted with a phone number unless that box is ticked.

You ask us to text you during a call or meeting. The request and the number are logged against your record with the date and who took it.

Consent is recorded with a timestamp and its source, and it is never bought, sold, shared or transferred. We do not text numbers obtained from third-party lists.

2. What we send

Messages relate only to what you asked us about — replies to your enquiry, demo scheduling and reminders, account and support follow-up. A first message typically reads: “Hi, it’s Autodatafy — thanks for reaching out! How can we help you today?”

Message frequency varies with the conversation; it is not a recurring broadcast, and we do not send marketing blasts from this number. Message and data rates may apply.

3. How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to be unsubscribed immediately. You will receive one confirmation that no further messages will be sent. Reply START to resume, or HELP for assistance — HELP replies with our contact details.

Opt-outs are enforced automatically across every message the platform sends, not per campaign, and they take effect on receipt.

4. Messages sent for dealerships

Autodatafy also provides an operations platform to automotive dealerships. Where a dealership uses it to message its own customers, those messages are sent by the dealership from the dealership’s own number, under consent that the dealership collected. Autodatafy acts as a service provider for that traffic and applies the same STOP handling, frequency caps and quiet hours to it. This page describes consent for Autodatafy’s own company line only.
