Privacy Policy
Autodatafy Corp. (“Autodatafy,” “we,” “us”) provides an operations platform for automotive dealerships. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to autodatafy.com, dealer.autodatafy.com, and services we provide to dealership customers (“Dealers”).
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect your name, role, dealership, email and phone number. When a Dealer creates an account, we collect business and billing details.
Information processed on behalf of Dealers. Our platform processes customer records that Dealers connect to it — such as contact details, vehicle and service history, lead activity and communications. For this data, the Dealer is the controller and Autodatafy acts as a service provider under our agreement with that Dealer.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect device and usage information (browser type, pages visited, approximate location) through cookies and similar technologies, used for site operation and analytics.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the platform, respond to inquiries, schedule demos, provide support, secure our systems, meet legal obligations, and — with your consent where required — send communications about our services. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Dealer customer data to market to those customers on our own behalf.
3. Text, email and voice communications
Messages sent through the platform are sent on behalf of Dealers to their customers, subject to applicable consent requirements (including CASL in Canada and the TCPA in the United States). The platform enforces opt-out handling automatically: replies such as “STOP” immediately suppress further messages, and contact frequency caps and quiet hours are applied across all campaigns.
4. How we share information
We share information only with: service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, communications delivery, analytics) under contractual confidentiality obligations; the Dealer whose store you interacted with; professional advisors; and authorities where required by law. We may share aggregated, de-identified metrics that cannot reasonably identify any person.
5. Security and retention
We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging and regular security reviews. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. Dealer customer data is retained according to the Dealer's instructions and our agreement with them.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent. If your data was collected by a Dealer, we may direct your request to that Dealer, since they control it. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected]. We respond within the timelines required by applicable law, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial and U.S. state privacy laws.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for site functionality and, with consent where required, analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; the site remains usable with non-essential cookies disabled.
8. Changes and contact
We'll post any changes to this policy here and update the date above; material changes will be highlighted on this page. Questions or requests: [email protected] or 1 (888) 848-3124.
